Professional Installation
All HughesNet Business Solutions service plans include equipment and a professional installation plan designed for commercial business locations. Hughes offers two types of professional installation packages—Commercial and Enterprise. Both packages include certain items listed below.
Included with Professional Installation
- 25' of cable trenching (in soft ground).
Note: Conduit not included. - Up to 150' of dual RG-6 cable from antenna to either PC or router
- Antenna system grounding up to 35'
- Connection to a single device, either PC or router
Antenna Mount Options
(Determined by Installer)
- Outside wall mount or roof mount, or
- Non-penetrating roof mount, or
- 6' in-ground pole mount
Hughes offers two types of professional installation packages—Commercial and Enterprise.
Standard Commercial Installation
Installation and operation is simple. A certified installer will arrive at your business location with all the necessary equipment to mount the satellite antenna on the roof; set up the satellite modem in the manager's office or co-located with a back-office PC; and install the cable to connect the satellite dish to the modem. If your installation is more complex and requires work beyond the scope of a standard installation, the installer will provide a quote at the time of installation.
Standard Enterprise Installation
Depending upon your location, it may be necessary to do more than what is covered in the standard Commercial Installation in order to ensure a proper installation. For an additional fee above the standard Commercial Installation, Hughes offers a standard Enterprise installation that includes longer cable runs, a taller pole mount (up to 10’) and other services to complete a more complex installation. The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) requires that only trained professionals install broadband satellite systems, like HughesNet. So relax and leave the installation to us!
